At Soft Strip Demo London, we believe in keeping things straight-up, fair, and clear. Whether we’re stripping out a Victorian terrace in Brixton or a commercial unit in Croydon, we always aim to be as transparent with our customers as we are with our demolition quotes.

3. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes provided are:

• Free of charge
• Valid for 30 days from the issue date
• Based on the information you provide during site visit or via our quote request form

If we turn up and find unexpected surprises (like walls that shouldn’t be there, or that classic London special — hidden asbestos), we reserve the right to revise the quote accordingly. We’re good, but we’re not psychic.

4. Booking & Cancellations

To book us, we’ll need written confirmation via email or form submission. Once confirmed:

• You’ll receive a proposed schedule and scope of works.
• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance or a fee may apply (because time is money — especially in London).

 

5. Health, Safety & Legal Compliance

We follow all UK health and safety legislation, including:

• HSE guidelines on soft strip demolition
• Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR 2012)
• Waste removal laws under gov.uk

We’re fully insured and operate responsibly — because the last thing you want during a soft strip out demolition is a legal mess larger than the rubble pile.

6. Access & Site Conditions

You, as the client, agree to:

• Provide clear access to the site
• Ensure electricity, water and welfare facilities are available (even just a working kettle — we’re British after all)
• Notify us of any hazardous materials on site (e.g., suspected asbestos)

If your site’s trickier than parking in Camden on a Sunday — let us know in advance.

7. Payments

Payment terms are agreed prior to job commencement and usually follow this pattern:

• Deposit to secure booking
• Balance upon completion (or per phased stages for larger works)

Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We hate doing it, but we’re not a charity — even if we’ve got hearts of gold.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including photos, text, and brilliant banter — belongs to Soft Strip Demo London, unless credited otherwise. No copying, pasting, or repurposing without permission.

9. Liability

We are liable for damage caused by negligence — not by unexpected Victorian surprises hiding behind plasterboard. We are not responsible for:

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with disputes subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts — ideally before it escalates to fisticuffs at the site gate.
