Keeping Your Data as Secure as Our Strip-Out Sites

Welcome to Soft Strip Demo London’s Privacy Policy. We know it’s not the most exciting read — no one ever said, “Ooh, let’s snuggle up and go through a GDPR policy tonight.” But this stuff matters. Just like we take care when stripping out a high-end flat in Mayfair or a heritage site in Hackney, we take care of your privacy too.Woodside, Furze Copse Farm, Hayes Lane, Horsham, West Sussex, RH13 0RF

We’re committed to protecting your personal data — and not just because the ICO says we have to. We’re Londoners, and trust means everything in this city, whether it’s between neighbours, builders, or cabbies during rush hour.

What We Collect (And Why We’re Not Creepy About It)

When you get in touch for a soft strip demolition quote or use our contact forms, we may collect the following info:

• Your name (so we don’t call you “mate” in the emails — unless you prefer that)
• Your contact details (email, phone, etc.)
• Project address/location
• Any extra notes or details you provide
• IP address and browser info (standard stuff, nothing MI5-level)

We use this info to:

• Respond to enquiries and provide quotes
• Manage projects and communications
• Improve our soft strip demolition services and website
• Stay compliant with UK data regulations

We’ll never sell your data to third parties. We’re a soft strip demolition company, not a dodgy data broker in a basement.

Cookies — Not the Biscuit Kind

Our website may use cookies (those little digital crumbs) to enhance your browsing experience. These help us understand what pages are being visited and how visitors interact with our site — which in turn helps us improve your experience.

You can disable cookies via your browser settings, but the site might not work quite as smoothly — like doing a strip out without checking for asbestos first. Risky move.

Where Your Data Goes

Sometimes we use trusted third-party tools to help us manage the website, marketing, and emails. These might include hosting providers, analytics platforms, and email systems — all GDPR-compliant and UK/EEA-based.

Your info stays secure and encrypted. Think of it like sensitive materials being removed and processed under HSE and CAR 2012 — carefully and responsibly.

Your Rights (Yes, You’ve Got Some)

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

• Know what data we hold about you
• Request access to your data
• Ask us to correct or delete your data
• Object to how we’re using it
• Withdraw consent (though that may affect services)

To exercise your rights, drop us a line at info@softstripdemolondon.co.uk. We’ll respond faster than a skip fills up on a Kensington demo job.

Data Retention

We only keep your personal data for as long as it’s necessary — for legal, operational, or project reasons. Once it’s no longer needed, we delete it securely.

We treat your personal info the same way we treat leftover plasterboard: responsibly disposed of and never dumped.

Third-Party Links (We Vet ‘Em)

We may link to useful resources (like HSE, NFDC, and Planning Portal) to keep you informed. Just note: once you leave our site, we’re not responsible for what happens elsewhere. Always check their policies too.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We might update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law or how we do business. When we do, we’ll update the date at the bottom of this page. No sneaky business — just staying legal and transparent.

Final Word (And It’s Not Legal Jargon)

We’re a demolition team, not lawyers. But we believe in doing things properly — from asbestos soft strip demolition in London to handling your personal data with care.

So whether you’re browsing for soft strip demolition services, wondering “what is soft strip demolition?” or about to refurbish a semi in South London — you can trust us to handle your project and your privacy with the same level of professionalism.
